I've read both the Fire & Rescue series (My fav from Zoe) and the Cedar Hills Lions series, and in comparison, this one is just meh.
It pains me to say that! I am so sorry Zoe.
I wanted to like this one, but after being spoiled by the wonderful firefighter shifters, this one just isn't even in the same ballpark.
It's lacking more substance from Grey. Ali's character was down perfect. You feel for her, and you can easily see how she's Grey's mate and why he loves her.
Yes, Grey is smoking hot, and he's a gentleman, and he treats Ali with so much love and tenderness, but I just felt like I needed to know MORE about him.
