I liked this one too. 

It was nice to get to know one of Gannon's mountain bears.

Jaron was really young though, or at least he seemed that way, and very innocent.

Gloria is having the worst Christmas of her life, until she meets Jaron.

This was a short and sweet read.

I loved the competition with the Christmas decorations between the brothers, as well as catching up with the entire family.

I hope we will be reading more about the mountain bears in the future.

If I had to have a complaint about Zoe Chant and her series, it's that she usually only gives you 5 or 6 books before moving on elsewhere to write.

I will be keeping an eye out for future releases to the Pinerock County Bears series!

So keep your fingers crossed!

Aww! I'm so happy for Cody!

He was the last single guy, and I felt so bad for him as the series progressed, but FINALLY he gets to meet his mate.

It's funny how fate works out sometimes. Crystal ended up back on her family farm, somewhere she didn't think she would ever want to be, and ended up finding the man of her dreams.

I loved the attractions between these two, and how hard Cody worked to help Crystal.

That's one great thing about Zoe Chant books, no assholes or mean girls!

I have to admit to being a little sad. I only have one more book available in this series.

I've enjoyed reading so far, so be sure to tune in next week for book 6!

I really enjoyed this one!

Gannon was so elusive in the previous books, It's nice to finally get to know him and his story.

Daisy was a perfect match for him, and I loved how well they meshed together and worked to help the rural mountain bears.

I hope we will be hearing more from these elusive mountain bears in the future!

I totally forgive him for being a jerk.

Alec is struggling to find himself in the changing clan, and then out of no where Charmian changes things all over again.

I loved that she didn't just lay down meekly and take whatever Alec dishes out.

She challenges him right back, while also standing by his side when he needs her the most. 


Overall, I really enjoyed reading this one!

This is book 3 in the Pinerock County Bears series, and FINALLY we get to understand why Alec is such a jerk at times.

He really rubbed me all wrong in Alec's book, but he redeemed himself somewhat in Remy's story, so I'm open to hearing and understanding WHY he was such a jerk face to Axl.

I really enjoyed this one. 

The beginning was a trip. The imagery was just so vivid  in my mine of poor Saffron trying to hitch a ride on the highway.

Then out of nowhere, up rides Remy like a bad ass knight! I just loved it!

The story itself is great, and I really hope we hear more about the other types of shifters mentioned in the rebel gang, even though they...well no spoilers.

I have to say though, What is it with all the bears being small town sheriffs?

I loved that Tara made him work for her affections. She didn't just jump his bones and fall in love right off the bat.

OK, Wooaah!

Where in the world did all of this come from?

This didn't feel like a Gray's Hollow book at all! It was more the first book in a new series, and Lawrence was just a side character!

Jane is a George, which is like a dragon cop. Lawrence accidentally breaks a rule, and ends up meeting Jane, his mate.

A LOT happens in this book, and it just really blind sided me.

I did enjoy the story. The shopping scene is something I could really see 2 dragons in love doing together as a date. It just screamed LUX!

But I'm not sure how I feel at the end of this book.

Are there going to be more books about the Georges?

What's going to happen to Gray's Hollow?

Right now I'm just left with too many questions.

This story was very sweet.

Amy was a wonderful person, and she did everything she could to help baby Sofia.

Teo really steps up once he learns about the baby, and together they make things work.

I hate to give spoilers, so I won't say much more, other than I loved this one too and can't wait to FINALLY read Lawrence's secrets in the next book!

I liked the play on the Twin's personalities. One serious, and one playful. 

I LOVED that they cared about each other enough to wait to find a mate together. Too bad it backfired so spectacularly!

I loved that Hannah didn't just lie down and take everything the brothers said, she really made them work for their relationship, even when she wanted to just give into them because she loved them.

The ending was perfect and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Normally, I don't go for billionaire books...because most of them are jerks.

But sweet Illie is so far from that.

We originally met Illie in his older brother, Gus's, story.

I felt so bad for Illie, being trapped as a dragon, but thanks to kind Becca, Illie can now easily transform to his human body.

I loved Becca's character too. She never makes Illie feel like less, she's protective of him, and she truly does love him.

My one fear in all of these books was that one of the brothers would end up with a gold digger, but so far, we're good with no witches with a B.

I will say that my one complaint is that Illie is a lot childish, and that kinda bugged me.

I liked this one.

I fell in love with the main characters, as well as the small town of Gray's Hollow.

I loved the mating ritual with the dragon's horde.

I just LOVED all the Chase references! I'm happy I read Fire and Rescue before, so I'd know who he was. 

The whole Mr. Shifter thing was hilarious, and reminded me of sassy drag queens for some reason.

The love story itself is great, and I really enjoyed Tex's sweet attitude. I was hoping he'd have a story ever since Master Shark's Mate.

I absolutely LOVED the cast of previous books and other series playing into this one.

AND I'm happy everything worked out in the end....BUT I'm dying with questions now!!!

Is everything from all the series happening in the same universe?

What's going on with Magnolia and Chef, which was also referenced in Tiger Spy.

Will Scarlett get her own story?

What about poor Gizelle?

And of course the elusive and very hot Gardener Graham?

Sigh, I'm stuck waiting for more in this series, so I guess i'll just have to wait and see!

I loved this one!

THIS is the magic that I was talking about! You can't help but love both Mary and Neal.

She's so scared of everything, and honestly, I identify a lot with Mary on a personal level.

Neal is just so supportive of his mate, after he gets past the shock of meeting her and being a jerk because he's scared.

He NEVER treats her as less, or makes any comments about her skittish natural. Instead, he finds her endearing and calls her brave.

Give that guy a cookie. Seriously!

I just loved this story, and how sweet Neal and Mary were together!

I really liked this one.

I almost gave it five stars, but stopped just short.

I did enjoy this story immensely, but it just doesn't have that enchanting magic that I know Zoe can write.

(I still randomly giggle at memories of Chase's story. I truly loved that book!)

I liked it.

I was happy to see a story from the refugee clan that made a home in Linden Creek during Wedding Bear.

Darrell is so protective and encouraging, I just loved how supportive he was for Carrie.

The surprise at the end was wonderful!

I keep hoping we'll hear more about said surprise and where said surprise has been.

^ Remember, no spoilers!

I've noticed a pattern, that the majority of Zoe's book series are only 5 or 6 books long before she moves on to another series.

I understand as an author myself, I have so many half finished stories it's ridiculous, but I do hope we'll see more from her current series, rather than a ton of new works.

Sidney and her crazy family just stole my heart. They remind me so much of my own fam, and there were many places were I was grinning because I could see my own aunts and mother doing exactly the same things!

Kayden, bless that boy, jumps right in with the flow of wedding crazy without any complaint. I love his comparison to clan politics and fighting.
It really can be like that around weddings with emotions running high and everyone trying to add their own opinions, etc.

I just loved this one!

Chris is charming and protective, Eva is sweet but sassy.

So, you're probably a little surprised to see this series popping up again. Frankly, I am too!

I thought I had finished reading this entire series, so imagine my surprise by finding out about a BONUS STORY!!!

I couldn't help myself! I bought the box set for $0.99 just so I could read Andero!

Then, I got an email to review an arc copy for FREE.

I politely declined the arc, since I had already bought the box set on Amazon, but for me, it was fate's way of saying READ THIS STORY WOMAN!

Who can say no to the fickle mistress of fate?

This one is just OK for me.

I've read both the Fire & Rescue series (My fav from Zoe) and the Cedar Hills Lions series, and in comparison, this one is just meh.

It pains me to say that! I am so sorry Zoe.

I wanted to like this one, but after being spoiled by the wonderful firefighter shifters, this one just isn't even in the same ballpark.

It's lacking more substance from Grey. Ali's character was down perfect. You feel for her, and you can easily see how she's Grey's mate and why he loves her.

Yes, Grey is smoking hot, and he's a gentleman, and he treats Ali with so much love and tenderness, but I just felt like I needed to know MORE about him.

I feel torn with this one. 

I did enjoy the story, and there were many laugh out loud moments for me, but at the same time, I don't know, it felt like it didn't belong in this series, and yet it does.

Master Shark is not a firefighter, and that really bothered me.

My mind is very linear, and I think I would have enjoyed Sea Dragon and Master Shark's stories AFTER Hugh's and Ash's. I kinda felt like I'd abandoned them, by reading ahead into more about Atlantis, versus the original Fire and Rescue team.

That said, I still gave this one 5 stars. The story is worthy of 5 stars, even if my mind protests the timeline.

I loved the shark culture and history of Finn's life. I enjoyed getting to know him better, and I was so happy for his own happily ever after.

Oh, man! There is a TON that goes on in this story!

It almost felt like 2 books in one.

We learn soooo much more about the sea dragons and their culture, John finally finds his beautiful mate, and, well, I never want to ruin things for you guys with spoilers, so go read it, it's well worth it!

I gave this one 5 stars!

Jokes aside, I enjoyed this story too.

It wasn't that laugh out loud, light hearted story that Chase's book was, but it was still really good.

I ended up giving this one 4 stars, because after reading Chase's Book, I've seen what this author is capable of, and I want more of that lighter side.
